We seek an immigration attorney to join our young and vibrant immigration practice.The immigration attorney will represent clients in deportation proceedings, provide affirmative immigration services, and pursue community-based systemic reform litigation and advocacy aimed at reforming harsh and violent federal immigration laws.
Paralegal, Direct Representation and Legal Clinic Programs

We seek a paralegal to join our young and vibrant immigration practice. Start date is flexible, with a preference for April 2022. The paralegal should plan to work full time for a period of at least one year.
BAJI Federal Policy Manager
Salary: $65k- $70k
The Policy Manager will engage elected officials, policy advocates, and other stakeholders in challenging mass criminalization and unjust enforcement of immigration laws as well as rules and regulations that undermine the welfare of immigrants.
BAJI-Bay Area Organizer
Report To: Organizing Director
The BAJI Bay Area Organizer will be responsible for implementing the BAJI strategic plan in consultation with BAJI staff, BAJI Organizing Committee members, and strategic partners. They will show leadership and commitment to BAJI guiding principles, framework, analysis and implementation methods.

Civic Engagement Outreach Associate

BAJI Overview: The Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) educates and engages African American and Black immigrant communities to organize and advocate for racial, social and economic justice. Local BAJI Organizing Committees in New York, Georgia, California and Florida with staff in Texas and Minnesota, build coalitions and initiate campaigns among communities to push for racial justice. At the local and regional level, BAJI provides training and technical assistance to partner organizations to develop leadership skills, works with faith communities to harness their prophetic voice, and initiates vibrant dialogues with African Americans and Black immigrants to discover more about race, our diverse identities, racism, migration and globalization.
Project Overview: The Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) is seeking an experienced organizer to join our Civic Engagement. The Civic Engagement Outreach Associate will be contracted to advocate, educate, and organize Black immigrants, surrounding civic engagement issues & voter engagement in Georgia, Texas; NY and Southern & Northern California.
