It has been almost two months since the tragic Bronx fire where we lost seventeen people and experienced trauma brought on by city and landlords’ negligence. Our collective work toward a more just immigration system free of anti-Blackness and equitable living conditions, is inclusive of fighting for safe and affordable housing for our communities. As Black people we know that when the state fails us, we show up for each other.
